HOW TO: Configure your Calendar Settings
Within the Calendar settings tab, choose your main Booking Policy, and specify how far in the future you want to accept appointments.
Instructions:
- Select a ‘Booking Policy’ method.
- Select the ‘Timeframe‘ – the number of months out you’d like online booking to be open for customers to book
- Click ‘Publish’ to save your settings.

Booking Policy:
Under the Booking Policy Section, there are two booking methods available to choose from. The selected booking method will be used by the Scheduling Assistant feature and your Online Booking calendar to determine your next available appointment slots.
- Open Schedule: Select Open Schedule if you want to accept all appointments whenever there is an appropriate room available. This is the quickest way to get your store online and accepting appointments. This Booking Policy will accept bookings in 30-minute increments throughout the day, whenever your store is open.
- First Available in Window of Time: Select this method if you want to further control how and when customers are able to book appointments with you. With First Available in Window of Time, clients will only see the first available time slots within your specified time window.

Open Schedule vs. First Available in Window of Time
What are the best uses for Open Schedule?
- If your store is open consistently and you accept appointments at all times during your store’s business hours.
- You want your customers to have full flexibility when booking, and see a list of all of your available time slots throughout the day.
What are the best uses for First Available in Window of Time?
- You only want certain types of appointments at specific times of the day, or days of the week.
- You want to limit specific appointment types into a “Window of Time” for booking.
- You only allow certain types of appointments on specific days of the week.
- You want to apply specific “Windows of Time” to each fitting room to ensure that customers will not be arriving all at once when the doors open.
- Appointments need to be booked back-to-back with set breaks throughout the day.
Timeframe:
Use ‘timeframe’ to indicate the number of months in the future that customers can book an appointment online. This setting can be changed at any time, and ranges from a minimum of 1 month into the future to 24 months into the future.
