How do I Void/Refund a sale in Poppy?
Users with access to the Point-of-Sale feature that also have permissions to void and refund transactions can do so by selecting the Point-of-Sale tile from the navigation menu in the top left-hand corner of Poppy.
Next, locate the desired sale within the list of recent sales. Choose the sale you’d like to do a void/return on, then click the actions menu (dots icon) on the right side of the sale.
Select View Sale, on the next screen, scroll to the very bottom. Under Payments hit the action menu (dots icon) to the far right the Payment you’d like to void or refund. See the full tutorial
Where can I adjust my Dashboard to display on certain widgets?
On your Dashboard screen you can select the green button in the bottom, right hand side of the screen. From here, you can toggle on and off which widgets you’d like to see on your Poppy Dashboard. See the full tutorial
Can my team use Poppy to track each other’s daily tasks?
Yes! Your team can use our To Dos feature to create action items within the software to indicate a follow up is needed with a customer or to complete any specific task.
To-dos are located on the Poppy Dashboard and can be added to the widget by clicking the column you’d like to add a to-do in, then filling in the important information about the task in the pop-up. See the full tutorial

I have created Business Hours, Special Hours, and Seasonal Hours. Which store hour schedule will Poppy prioritize first?
If you have set up all 3 store schedules set up, you can expect the following priority:
- Special hours will override both Seasonal hours and normal business hours.
- If your Seasonal hours are in effect, you can expect them to be prioritized over your normal business hours.
- If both Special hours and Seasonal hours are not currently in effect (meaning no seasonal hours or special hours are set within this given timeframe), Poppy will prioritize your normal business hours.
Can I prioritize which fitting rooms get reserved first?
Yes, Click on the navigation menu in the top, left hand corner, then Store Management>Calendar. Next, select if you want to Create New or Edit an existing fitting room. Here you can prioritize which appointments and time slots for that specific fitting room can be reserved for each specific fitting rooms and appointment types. See full tutorial here
I only want to accept certain appointments on specific days of the week. How do I do this?
Yes, this can only be done by a Poppy Admin. Go to the navigation menu , then Store Management. From there, select the Calendar section on the left. Within the Calendar Settings tab at the top, choose the ‘First Available in Window Of Time’ radio button. Don’t forget to click the Publish button, if you make any changes you want to save. Choosing this option will allow you to specify what appointment types can be booked in a fitting room during a specified windows of time. Bridal customers will see the first available time within that specific window. Don’t forget to save any changes by clicking the Publish button towards the bottom of the screen!

Can I book appointments on behalf of my customers?
Yes, an Admin or user with access to the Calendar feature can create and/or edit appointment details on behalf of their bridal customers. See tutorial here
