HOW TO: Create a new Appointment
There are two ways to book an appointment for your bridal customer.
Use the Scheduling Assistant
Navigate to the ‘Calendar’ from the Main Menu icon in the top left corner
- Click the Scheduling Assistant button, located at the top right corner of the screen
- Click ‘Add Appointment Details’
- From the pop-up modal, select the appointment type & desired date of the appointment
- Your bridal stores fitting room settings will affect the availability of appointment types
- Available dates within the calendar modal will be highlighted in green.
- Click ‘Apply Selections’
- Next, choose the fitting room from the ‘Filter by fitting room’ drop down menu
- Only fitting rooms with availability for that day will be displayed
- Next, select the available time slot for your desired appointment date
- Click ‘Book Appointment’
- If no time slots are shown, or only “add to waitlisting list” displays, you may need to edit your fitting room availability in Calendar Settings. Menu > Store Management> Calendar Settings
- Next, verify the Start/End time and buffer duration, then proceed to complete all required fields.
- A buffer duration will block off the time after the appointment ends, you can remove or edit the buffer as needed.
- To confirm the appointment, click the ‘Create Appointment’ button
- A booking fee popup window will appear requesting confirmation to charge a booking fee for the appointment. Select ‘Charge’ to collect the payment, or ‘Cancel’ to skip.
- This requires a booking fee to exist in the Calendar Settings for each Appointment type
- Proceed to fill out Payment information if ‘Charge’ button was selected.
- A booking fee popup window will appear requesting confirmation to charge a booking fee for the appointment. Select ‘Charge’ to collect the payment, or ‘Cancel’ to skip.
You should now see the appointment you just booked on your appointment calendar. If the appointment has a striped pattern, then you still need to confirm the appointment.
Using ‘+ Add New Appointment’
Note: Using ‘+ Add New Appointment’ will allow you to override any previously booked times on your calendar, it does not check your calendar’s availability.
Navigate to the ‘Calendar’ from the Main Menu icon in the top left corner
- Select ‘+ Add New Appointment’ located in the top right corner of the screen, just below the Scheduling Assistant.
- Click ‘+ Add Customer’ (optional)
- This step and can be done after the appointment is booked
- Click ‘+ Add Appointment Details’
- From the pop-up modal, select the appointment type & desired date of the appointment
- Your bridal stores fitting room settings will affect the availability of appointment types
- Available dates within the calendar modal will be highlighted in green.
- Click ‘Save Appointment’
- Next, choose a Start/End time and buffer duration
- A buffer duration will block off the time after the appointment ends, you can remove or edit the buffer as needed.
- Select a fitting room.
- Only the fitting rooms available for that appointment type will be available to book, you will see all others grayed out.
- Add the Number of guest that will be attending the appointment (optional)
- Select which stylist or associate will be assigned to the bridal appointment from the drop down.
- If you are ready to confirm the appointment on your calendar, toggle on ‘Accept appointment details’
- To send confirmation of the appointment to the customer, click ‘yes‘ or ‘no‘
- Finally add any additional appointment notes (optional)
- Click ‘Create Appointment’
