HOW TO: Create a Contact Auto Flow

Navigate to the Messaging from the main menu in the top left corner of the screen.

  • Click ‘Automated Flows’ on the left hand side

  • Click ‘+ New Flow’
  • Type in a Flow Name
  • Choose ‘Contact’ as your trigger
  • Select the Customer Categories you’d like this flow to be assigned to

  • Next, select the timing of the automated flow.
    • Scheduled or Immediate
      • If scheduling a contact auto flow, you can choose a timeframe of hours, days, or months, then select whether you’d like the auto flow activated after the contact is categorized or before/after event date.

  • Next, Choose the action of the auto flow.
    • Send email
      • Choose from a list of templated emails you’ve previously created.

  • Send Text
    • Choose from a list of templated texts you’ve previously created.
    • Write a custom text message with the ability to add smart fields

  • Create a task
    • Title the task
    • Add a description
    • Assign task to a user
      • Appointment User
      • Customer User
      • Specific User

You can add multiple actions to one auto flow by clicking ‘+ Add Action Set

  • When you have all your actions set up how you’d like them click ‘ Save & Close
